1. INVERIGO
SPACES FOR IDEAS The architecture of the interior, conceived as wide open spaces, aims to enable dialogue and
interaction between personnel, PRODUCING QUALITY Poliform's philosophy of production has over time enabled the company to come up with production
methods which optimise industrial processes so as to guarantee the highest possible quality of the
finished product.
The Arosio unit houses the company showroom, for exclusive use by members of Poliform's business
network and the press. THE COMPANY SHOWROOM The Arosio showroom is a basic part of Poliform's business strategy. The area has a dual role: on the one hand it presents the Poliform collection in its most up-to-date format, and on the other it defines the company's display format for repetition at sales outlets. ![]() The presentation of new lines stands out for its uncompromising aesthetic choices; the final consumer's emotional make-up is especially taken into account. The display area layout is in keeping with the way the company's information folders are designated according to 'houses' representing living styles: similarly, nuclei are created in both showroom levels which link the day and night zones, the wardrobes, accessories and padded items, as they suggest different stylistic interpretations of the Poliform collection. LURAGO D'ERBA The Lurago premises are the headquarters of Varenna, Poliform's kitchen division, and house the associated showroom entirely devoted to kitchens. This avant-garde production unit was like all the other Poliform units designed by Paolo Piva, and enables the company to undertake superlative management of the production of a collection which stands out for its wide variety of materials and finishes. PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY The building was designed to optimize production line functioning, and may be considered as a sort of linear course starting off from the raw materials' warehouse, passing through processing and assembly stages, and then ending up in the loading and despatch areas.
Details of Varenna's production line. The production area stands out for the orderly and extremely rational positioning of its equipment. The use of state-of the-art technology and machinery ensure that the finished product is of the highest quality. The building also houses Varenna kitchens' technical and commercial offices spread over a total area of 22,500 sq mt, with 130 members of staff. THE VARENNA SHOWROOM The Varenna showroom is designed to offer a complete presentation of the company's kitchen collection. A glass corridor leads into the 500 sq mt wing which showcases Varenna's production perfectly: light walls embellished by striking graphic imagery split up the area, providing a gentle backdrop which contrasts with and brings out the formal rigour of the compositions.
Designed by the architect Chicco Bestetti, the Varenna showroom decor makes use of graphic and architectural features to give further division of space: areas existing in their own right are thus identifiable presenting varied item-types, as they take you on a real tour through the entire Varenna collection.
